About this role

Syntropy is seeking a business development leader to help increase adoption of the Syntropy Stack, as well as own, lead, and close opportunities across the Syntropy ecosystem. You will be one of the key members of the sales / BD team working alongside our CEO, CTO, and others to close new deals, partner with key accounts, build strong relationships with business leaders, and drive adoption of our technology.

This position is a rare chance to help shape the future of the internet by putting our technology into the hands of developers and executives in industries like SaaS, FinTech, Networking, DevOps, Blockchain and other tech spaces. We’ve built a product that will radically change the internet landscape and we’re looking for someone who will help us drive that message into the market.

Main responsibilities will be:
  • Identify, lead, and oversee business opportunities as well as strategic partnerships, including both growth stage startups as well as multibillion dollar enterprises.
  • Own and lead the sales cycle for all potential opportunities from initial contact to close, including managing relationships with enterprise clients, major cloud providers, resellers/MSPs, strategic partners and more
  • Build, optimize, and scale the sales process across all channels, with increasing adoption of the Syntopy Stack being your main objective
  • Align with the marketing demand generation strategy to bring in high-intent demo leads and provide users with a frictionless testing/buying experience
  • Build relationships with clients of all levels (developers to senior executives)
  • Work with business development to strategize and build a qualified pipeline of prospects and new potential customers within relevant verticals and channels
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of business development or sales experience
  • Ability to own and lead the sales funnel
  • Excellent verbal/presentation skills with stellar negotiating and closing ability
  • Proven track record of leading, negotiating, and closing enterprise deals and forming high-caliber partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills with senior executives at large multinational companies
  • Significant experience selling disruptive technology into targeted market segments
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of SaaS or tech sales experience
  • Understanding of and prior experience with SaaS and Network technologies
  • Fluency with Cloud and Infrastructure software
  • Bonus: Passion for and understanding of blockchain technologies and its applications
